I can’t even begin to describe this creamy Alfredo sauce, but I’ll try. This sauce is loaded with flavor! You’ll sop it up at the end of your meal with the extra bread you know you shouldn’t have because you’ve passed your carb limit, but it’s so delicious you won’t leave any behind…that would be such a waste! 😉
Not once have I bought another sauce in a jar since making this. Its loaded with parmesan cheese and garlic (boy, do I love garlic!), and it’s creamy and buttery.
See what fans of the sauce are saying about it:
“Wow! This has got to be the best Alfredo Sauce Recipe I have ever tried. Its perfect…” -Lori
“Dinner is served! Thanks to a fantastic recipe from @lizleeray…” -Kayla
“Your Alfredo sauce is the bomb!” -Nathan
Creamy Alfredo Sauce
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
- 16 oz heavy cream
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 2 oz parmesan cheese, grated
In a sauce pot, place butter to melt over medium-low heat. Add heavy cream and whole milk, bring to a simmer. Season with 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Add minced garlic and parmesan cheese. Whisk until sauce is slightly thick; do a taste check. You can’t go wrong with this if you add a little more parmesan cheese. I truly hope you have the chance to make this and please let me know if you do. I’d love to hear all about it.
Here are a couple of dishes I made with my sauce. Enjoy!
